Right now we feel like all we ever do is play the waiting game. Emma is 8 months old today and we are waiting for her to crawl and for her to get her first tooth. I feel like she’s been teething for 2 months now and still no pearly white…kind of frustrating but more so for her…it’s so sad to see her in pain
. Hopefully before too long that tooth will decide to break through but right now we can only wait… Emma’s also been so close to crawling I keep telling everyone any day…any day. She’s a pro at rolling and going backwards and she can get up on all fours and fall forwards but she’s still working on the whole opposite arm opposite leg thing….so right now all we can do is wait.
Even more frustrating than anticipating these wonderful events in Emma’s life if the fact that it’s been 50 days and we still haven’t heard back from the bank about the house we put an offer in on. Originally the listing agent told us it would be 45 days…well that was up on Friday and still no word. The seller signed off on our offer and all we’ve been doing is waiting for the bank to tell us yeah or nay. No wonder no one can buy a home….the banks won’t let them. We’re finding it very frustrating considering we are more than qualified to purchase this home but for some reason they don’t seem to want us to. So we’re trying to figure out if we start trying to push them along. We’re sick of waiting and want to find a place of our own that we can make our home. I can’t wait to actually have a room for Emma and give her the nursery that she deserves…she’s 8 months today and she’s yet to have slept in her crib we bought her. It’s all very frustrating and somewhat depressing
A week or so ago our good friends Justin and Alicia came to visit. We loved having them here and felt special that they would spend their vacation with us. I didn’t get many pictures on my camera with them but here is us at one of the monuments in DC. When I get pictures from them I’ll post more!
